The LAES is a service, contracted by the Department of Social Protection (DSP), which primarily supports long-term unemployed clients who are most distant from the labour market with a focus on their progression into employment.
We at Bray & North Wicklow Area Partnership wish to establish a panel of suitably qualified people to fill current and future LAES Caseworker vacancies.
The Caseworkers will work across offices in Bray, Wicklow and Arklow and may also be required to provide cover in the Athy, Kildare, Leixlip, Naas and Newbridge LAES offices and any other offices which might be developed over the lifetime of the LAES. This is an existing and rewarding position that will appeal to motivated practitioners eager to use their skills supporting positive progression pathways to employment. Reporting to: LAES General Manager
Salary: Salary scale €40,956 – €63,541 (14 point scale)
Hours of work: 35 hours per week
Probationary period: 6 months
Nature of contract: 1 year fixed term contract with possibility of renewal dependant on performance and availability of funding
Other: The position requires Garda Vetting
