A new employment project for people with disabilities called IMPACT has opened its doors in Bray.

IMPACT was set up by a consortium of local organisations, led by Bray Area Partnership, and is administered through Pobal on behalf of the Department of Social Protection, resourced through the Dormant Accounts Fund.

The project will use a person-centred approach to support you to find suitable secure paid employment, advance your career or become self-employed. Supports available will include mentoring, training, supported work and job experience placements, in-work supports and upskilling in a current role.

The service is available to you if you are living in the Bray and North Wicklow areas, aged 18 and over and in receipt of a Disability Allowance.

We’re looking forward so much to start meeting clients”, says IMPACT Co-ordinator Orla Butler, “and to working with local employers to help create more inclusive work environments for people with disabilities so they can reach their full potential.”

The IMPACT team is based in the Southern Cross Business Park in Bray. To find out more or make an appointment, call Orla Butler on 01 963 3342 or email orlabutler@brayareapartnership.ie
